Parish Ministries
The list of ministries below contains a brief description of their work and a contact person. These ministries perform very useful work for our parish and community. They are always looking for new members who have something to offer or wish to partake in their activities. If you want more information, please call the rectory Office (201-664-6624) between the hours of 9 and 4, and the parish secretary will put the appropriate person in contact with you.
ADORATION SOCIETY
These parishioners promote the First
Friday Adoration and Exposition of the
Blessed Sacrament each month.

ADULT CHOIR
The choir sings at the 10:30 am Mass
each Sunday and at major parish celebrations.

ADULT SCRIPTURE STUDY
This group shares continuing education
on scriptures.

ALTAR SERVERS
Boys and girls who assist the priests at
the various liturgies.

BAPTISMAL TEAM
These parishioners meet in an informal
setting with expectant or new parents
who are preparing for the baptism of
their children to discuss the nature and
importance of this sacrament.

BEREAVEMENT COMMITTEE
At the time of loss of a loved one, these
parishioners act as support and consolation to the bereaved.

Parishioners who coordinate, distribute and serve food to those in need.

Men of the parish who join together once a month to share scripture and spirituality under guidance.

MINISTRY OF PRAYER
This ministry is meant for those who are homebound by handicap, illness or
age. They unite their sufferings to the
Passion of Jesus and offer their prayers
for the intentions of their fellow parishioners, enabling them to feel more
closely connected to the parish family.

NOLA (NO LONGER ALONE
Widows and Widowers, who, because
of their common loss, band together for
social and intellectual activity. Meetings
are held in the Sullivan Center on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month.
Parish Life Committee
Takes care of parish social activities. Examples of activities:
Coffee after Mass, Movie Night, etc
PASTORAL COUNCIL
Parishioners who meet monthly to discuss problems and new ideas for the
parish.

This committee helps promote the pro-life message through education and action.

anticipate, identify and help alleviate
the temporal needs of the people of all

USHERS
These parishioners serve in greeting the
congregation as they come to Mass,
helping to seat them and taking the Offertory Collection.
