RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEWS.

Any student who will be going to Catholic High School in the Fall and would like to be in the Confirmation Program, please contact Joyce Magras at your earliest convenience for the mailing that we just sent out for the 8th graders in the Rel. Ed. program. Please call 201-664-1679. Thank you.

REGISTRATIONS: Still haven’t registered your Pre-K, 1st graders or even older child? You can still do so. Just call the Religious Education Office and set up a time when you can come in and register. Do not delay any further. We need to know to order enough books and get the Catechists we need. Do help us. Also, don’t forget, we still have needs for Catechists, Substitutes and Hall Monitors. Are you willing to step out of your routine and give a little extra time to God’s work in the vineyard. Call Joyce Magras at 201-664-1679.

NEEDED: CATECHISTS for the following classes and sessions: Sunday mornings at 9:15am for Pre-K, Tuesday afternoons at 3:45 pm for Grade 4 and 5 and Tuesday evenings at 7:15 pm for Grade 7. Training is provided even if you have never taught before. Come and share your Faith and love for God with our children. They need the witness of strong and faithful believers and role models like you and the grace of God to hold on to their Faith which is challenged by violence and lack of values and the immorality we see in our world today. Are you willing to say "YES” to God and take up this challenge to be an instrument of God in the lives of the children of our parish today? P lease call Joyce at 201-664-1679. We also need Substitute Catechists for all sessions to fill in when Catechists are sick or have to be away. There's training for you also. What is the cost to you? Your time and a generous spirit. Her topic is, “As I Have Loved You: Discovering the Keys to Unconditional Love and How to Apply Them in Our Relationships.” The gathering takes place every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 7Courthourse Place, Oakland, NJ.
