Religious Education

Programs

Religious Education is the heart of the faith formation for our children and their families. There are many areas in which one can volunteer in this program. Catechists are trained to instruct and guide the children in their ongoing faith formation. Classroom aides help the catechist provide a loving and nurturing learning environment. Office aides help the coordinator keep attendance records and provide various forms of clerical work. Hall monitors help maintain order for the children before, during, and after a classroom session. The parish is always looking for people who have a passion and a desire to help build a strong faith foundation for all of the children and families of our parish.

PreK – 8th Grade

Our PreK-8th Grade program instructs children in learning about God’s love through activities, prayer, and service. Students get the chance to learn about God through both action and words.

Youth Group
The Youth Ministry program is a gathering of middle school and high school students twice a month on Sunday evenings from 6-8pm. Teenagers have the opportunity to learn about Catholicism at a level they can appreciate and understand, as well as participate in service projects for the community. The ministry occasionally offers special events and outings throughout the year.
